Dongbaek in Jeju is a Korean brewery crafting camellia flower liquor with Jeju’s clean water and naturally fermented ingredients. As they prepared to launch in the United States and Europe, they needed a rebrand that could carry the quiet, poetic character of Jeju into new markets without losing its local soul. Studio Number0 developed an identity that pairs restrained typography with atmospheric imagery inspired by Jeju’s landscape and the nuances of each flavor. Each label and touchpoint becomes a small poem about the island—color, texture, and photography work together to suggest taste before the bottle is opened. This globally legible yet deeply place‑based system helped Dongbaek in Jeju build recognition abroad and secure partnerships with over 100 retailers outside Korea.
